1. Introduction

Welcome to Turtle Tours. By booking a transfer, tour, vehicle rental, or related service with us, you enter into a legal agreement and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you have read and understood them prior to confirming your booking.

2. Bookings & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to secure your booking for multi-day tours or hotel packages.
• For transfers and day rentals, full payment or a smaller confirmation fee may be required as specified at the time of booking.
• The remaining balance must be settled as per the specific invoice instructions provided by our team.
• Prices are quoted in USD but can be paid in TZS (Tanzanian Shillings) at the prevailing company exchange rate.

4. Rental Specifics (Bikes & Motorbikes)

All vehicle rentals require a valid driving permit (and a Zanzibar temporary permit for motorbikes, which we can assist in obtaining). The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle, theft, or loss of accessories (helmets, locks) during the rental period.

5. Travel Insurance & Health

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Turtle Tours is not liable for any medical expenses, trip interruptions, or loss of luggage. Please ensure you are in good physical health for activities like cycling or spice farm walking tours.

6. Liability

Turtle Tours acts as an agent for hotels and transport providers. While we vet all our partners for safety and quality, Turtle Tours, its employees, and agents cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to property during your stay or transit.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar.
