Sunset Dhow Cruise

Your experience begins with a hotel pick-up in Zanzibar, where our driver will transfer you comfortably to Nungwi or Kendwa Beach, the starting point of your sunset dhow cruise. Upon arrival, enjoy a short moment on the white sandy beach before boarding a traditional wooden dhow for your evening sail along the northern coast.

As the dhow sets sail, enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise along the Indian Ocean, where you will witness breathtaking views as the sun slowly sets over the horizon. Relax with tropical fruits and bottled water while enjoying the lively atmosphere created by traditional Ngoma drumming, music, and dancing. You will also hear stories of ancient Arab and Indian trade routes, and optionally you may swim or jump into the ocean for a refreshing experience.

After watching the sun disappear into the horizon, the dhow gently sails back to Nungwi Beach. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting to transfer you comfortably back to your hotel, ending your evening with a smooth and relaxing drop-off.

Note:  This is a shared dhow cruise with other guests, so it has a friendly and social atmosphere. Private dhow options are also available on request for honeymoons, proposals, birthdays, special celebrations, or any personalized occasion based on your preference.
